This last week was a rough one for our family. It started out great. We had a great Mother’s Day with family and a fun trip to the Detroit Zoo. On our drive home our Little Miss got sick and had some respiratory distress and ended up in the Emergency Room and then was admitted to the Hospital for a couple of days. The last several days we have been in the hospital and working on getting her better. She is much better today and will be discharged shortly.
Now that we are home I am able to share my pictures of our bathroom for the One Room Challenge with you.
I am so excited to share my Coastal Bathroom with you all. I am also excited to have the kids bathroom done and usable again!
Here is a little reminder of what the bathroom looked like before. Plain, blah with lots of Oak trim and Oak cabinets and Oak doors.
Here is the inspiration board for the bathroom. I stayed pretty much right on with my inspiration for this room.
Here is the Coastal Bathroom reveal!
I really love how the blue cabinets turned out. I really love the color.
You can find the paint colors HERE.
I found both glass pieces at Goodwill. The plant is from TJMaxx.
I found this adorable hand towel at HomeGoods. I love the fringe on the bottom of it. The tray is from the dollar spot in Target. The containers for the cotton balls and q-tips are mason jars and I just spray painted the lids white. The soap dispenser is from TJMaxx.
The shelves above the toilet were a lot of fun to decorate.
We frequently use epsom salt for baths. This jar from TJMaxx was perfect for displaying it within arms reach of the tub but out of reach of the little kids.
The drift wood we gathered on a family day trip at Mission Point Light house on Lake Michigan.
We made the little blue crystal geode as a fun mommy and me craft. My little miss was very excited to display it in her bathroom for everyone to see.
This cute little trash basket I got from the dollar section in Target!
This bench turned out so great! I am loving the character that it has and the storage that it offers. I am still looking for the perfect bins to fit in the extra spaces.
This shiplap door was one of my favorite things that I had planned for this room and I am so glad that I was able to finish it.
The door came together rather quickly. My husband cut all the pieces for me and I put it together.
The door nobs and hinges I updated with just some black spray paint. One quick coat and they were ready to go!
Here is a little side by side of the before and after.
Have you missed a week?
