I love kids books and always enjoy finding new holiday themed books. I always stop at the seasonal kids book display in the store and look over each book. I do this of course, when I am not shopping with the kids, because they would give me about 30 seconds before declaring that they wanted to move on in the store. Luckily all of our thrift stores in the area put the kids books right next to the toys, so I can easily browse there while the kids search through the toys.
Each season I rotate the books out with books for the new season. By rotating the books it feels like we are reading new books frequently. I think it also helps kids learn about the different seasons and holidays. I give Arianna and Ryder a book for almost every holiday. This Valentines Day they will both be getting a book and a small treat as their gift. Some of these book we own and love already, and some are on our wish list to get!
