One of my favorite fall activities is to go to the cider mill! When I was growing up we would go to the cider mills all the time to pick apples and pumpkins. The fresh doughnuts and cider are hands down my favorite fall treat! I get so excited when fall rolls around and the cider mills open once more for the season!
Living in Minnesota there are no cider mills close to me. I mean legit cider mills where you can watch them crush the apples and make the donuts kind of place. Sure some places have a small apple orchard where they might let you pick your own apples but nothing like the cider mills that I grew up going to.
My love of cider mills led me to create my own little Apple Cider Bar in my dining room! Its a far cry from the real thing, but at least I can stay in my Pajamas and enjoy it!
My DIY Fall Apple Wreath fit in perfectly with my Apple Cider bar. All the extra apples I had left over I added around the table in baskets and on top of my vintage scale.
My kids have been dying to eat the honey spoons that I bought to add to the apple cider bar. They will be happy that I finally got everything put together and done so they can eat them now!
What is your favorite way to enjoy apple cider?
Mixed in spices or just a simple cinnamon stick?
However you like it, I have a cup waiting for you to come enjoy!
