I love the look of ferns in the summer time. There is just something about them that just says summer. I would fill my entire front porch with hanging ferns if I could! When I came across these faux fern picks I knew that I wanted to make a wreath out of them so that I could enjoy the beauty all summer long.
There are two ways to do this, The first is to glue each pick to the wreath. This works best if you have smaller fern picks like the ones I used. The picks that I used had a total of 5 fern leaves on each pick. The other way that you could do this would be to remove all of the fern stems from the pick and then add each fern onto the wreath. This method would work best if the type of fern pick is very full.
Begin by gluing the fern stems around the wreath. Work your way around the wreath until all of your fern stems are used up.
I used a total of 8 fern picks on my 18 inch wreath.
I used my wreath on my front door for Ryder’s Peter Pan first birthday. It was the perfect way to greet guests as they entered the party.
This faux fern wreath was so easy to put together. I just love projects that I can complete in a short amount of time! It saves my ‘To Do List’ from having things get added to it!
