  • Edgar Allen Poe Halloween Cabinet

I am always using vintage books in my decor, so it should be no surprise that I used them in my Halloween Decor as well. Classic vintage books are my favorite. They are always fun to find and my collection is growing slowly.  I thought it would be fun to make an Edgar Allen Poe Halloween Cabinet.   Every time I see the black ravens in Halloween decor it made me think of Edgar Allen Poe’s poem: The Raven.  I decided to turn my hutch, where I keep a good portion of my vintage books, into a Raven’s nest.   Now I do not have any vintage books containing Poe’s…

As much as I love summer time and beach days, I also enjoy being able to drink hot coffee at all times of the day and wearing cozy sweaters. To give you your Pumpkin spice fix, even on the days that you don’t have one in hand……

I love the pattern of the…

  • Easter Table Decor

I am getting so excited that Easter is right around the corner. I really love the Easter holiday. It holds a lot of great memories for me as a kid, like spending time with family, doing egg hunts with my cousins, getting dressed up a little bit more fancy for church and of course always looking forward to what I got in my Easter Basket. I also love that it is a celebration  of Jesus dying on the cross for us and that he rose again.  I appreciate the true reason for Easter so much more now as an adult. It just fills my heart with so much joy.…
