Easter Table Decor
I am getting so excited that Easter is right around the corner. I really love the Easter holiday. It holds a lot of great memories for me as a kid, like spending time with family, doing egg hunts with my cousins, getting dressed up a little bit more fancy for church and of course always looking forward to what I got in my Easter Basket. I also love that it is a celebration of Jesus dying on the cross for us and that he rose again. I appreciate the true reason for Easter so much more now as an adult. It just fills my heart with so much joy.
I am not hosting Easter this year, but I still decorated my table to celebrate the holiday. The living room is still being remodeled so that leaves just the dining room untouched by the construction mess. Can we say ….. longest floor install ever! hahaha I will get to that all in another post,. Today is all about sharing my Easter Table Decor!
Easter Table Decor
Now my Easter table decor looks a lot like my Spring Decor in the Dining room, and that is because I kept a few things the same.
I really liked having the burlap sacks as a table runner for my table so I kept that for my Easter table as well. I like the texture that they add to the table white still being neutral, plus the pops of black writing on them adds a fun element.
This rabbit is a new addition to my Spring decor this year. It was the perfect centerpiece for my Easter table decor. He is a pretty tall rabbit, but I wanted to accent him even more, so I placed him on my favorite cake stand. One rabbit was not enough, so I added some white ones that I had and tucked them behind some greenery and distressed pots.
I really liked the small eggs that I got from Hobby Lobby and wanted to use them for as long as possible in my Spring time decor. I found the small galvanized buckets at Hobby Lobby as well and decided to use them to hold the eggs. They have a whole end cap of small galvanized goodies. I probably changed my mind a dozen times before settling on these. They just had so many cute options.
I normally never find any good dishes when I am out thrifting. I don’t know what it is about my town but they never have any good cute dishes at the thrift stores. So I was really excited to find a set of these soft green beaded dishes when we were out of town on my husbands work trip.
Do you get to tag along if your husband has a work trip? I normally do and enjoy our “mini vacations”. We probably wont get to do it as often once my daughter starts school this fall.
The dishes matched my spring decor perfectly!
Our Easter will be spent with the entire Family having a big dinner, making a mess dying Easter eggs, and hunting for eggs filled with goodies with the cousins. I am really looking forward to the big family event. What are your Easter traditions like? Are they similar to mine? Do you do something else special to celebrate the holiday?
Have a Happy Easter!
