New Year

Hi Friends!

I hope the new year is finding you well!

I know we are almost done with January, but this year had a rough start for us. Well it actually started the day after Thanksgiving when my daughter got sick with a stomach bug, and then after that my son got a cold and so did my Husband. Then it was sniffles and coughs all around until Christmas. Shortly before New Years we all came down with the stomach bug, again. I will spare you the stomach turning details, but each of us took our turn to be sick. The saga continues as my daughter and I both got a cold a week into the new year. We are all doing well now. ( fingers crossed!! )

What a way to bring in the new year I tell ya. I normally get sick once a year, so I am hoping that I filled my quota for this year. Needless to say things have been a bit rough over here and I haven’t had a chance to share my New Years Decor with you!

I don’t do much for New Years, decor wise or party wise for that matter either. Lol

This year I got inspired to do just a bit of New Years decor.

Most everything came from the Target Dollar spot, so everything was really affordable! I didn’t buy anything that had the year on it so I can use it again!

Our drink of choice is Sparkling fruit juice. I just dressed up the bottle with some gold washi tape from the target dollar spot and some polka dot paper. The paper was actually the packaging paper that came with the other dollar spot goodies I bought!

My decor also had some vintage items in it as well. {Of course!}

Like the wooden spoons, sifter and the scale.

The large numbers came from a box of numbers that I picked up at a garage sale this past summer.

I hope that 2018 is going well for you my friends!

I have so many projects on my list and I can’t wait to share them all with you this year!

Here is to a new year!
