4th of July will be here in just one week!
Around here it feels like school just got out! Even though they have been done for almost a month.
This year we have been non stop busy the entire month of June. So busy that I have had little to no time to decorate, take pictures and blog. It’s hard when the warm sunshine that we have been waiting for all winter is finally here! Well sort of here, we have had quite a lot of rainy days lately. During one of our summer rains, you know the kinds where the sun is shining and there are no dark clouds and yet it is raining. Well it was one of those days that we were stuck inside that I got the urge to decorate for the 4th of July.
My sunroom is the easiest space for me to decorate because it is so light and bright thanks to the floor to ceiling windows and my deconstructed furniture.
Ten minutes later and my sunroom was all decked out in the patriotic red white and blue for the 4th of July celebrations.
The first area I started with was my vintage washer that I use as a table in the sunroom. I added my latest 4th of July craft, my DIY Barn Quilt American Flag Art. You can find my easy tutorial on how to make a barn quilt sign for your home over on the DecoArt blog where it is featured.
I found these super cute navy buffalo plaid pillows to add to my deconstructed couch. The best thing, besides the fact that they were only $12 each is that they are reversible! There is a different Navy plaid pattern on the back.

Ebenezer Market has so many adorable farmhouse signs for your home! You will have a hard time picking just one!
I am glad that I got one space decorated for the 4th of July! I think I will take it quick and simple with the rest of my patriotic decor for around the house!
