• Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Idea

Mother’s Day is this Sunday! Sometimes smaller holidays like this sneak up on me. Life happens and I get busy and lose track of time and before you know it, the day has arrived and  I am unprepared. This year I was able to remember when Mother’ Day was because this year I will be running a 5K with my mom and Grandma! I am really looking forward to spending the day with them! Let’s hope the weather is nice for our run! This year I am doing something simple for my mom for Mother’s Day. It would also make a great last minute gift!     I found…

  • 14 Fun Valentines books for Toddlers

I love kids books and always enjoy finding new holiday themed books. I always stop at the seasonal kids book display in the store and look over each book. I do this of course, when I am not shopping with the kids, because they would give me about 30 seconds before declaring that they wanted to move on in the store. Buying a one year old a gift that they are going to love and play with again and again can be challenging, Especially if they have older siblings that might already have “everything”.  I like to buy gifts that children can…

If your Dad is anything like mine he is really hard to buy gifts for. My dad has this bad habit of going shopping for himself right before a holiday. He has done it pretty consistently for years. He gives you some ideas as to what he wants and then before you know it He has gone out and bought it for himself.  I have had to unwrap and take things back and exchange them for something else numerous times. You think that I would learn and just buy his gift last minute but that would stress me out to much I think. I am a bit of a planner. I…
